Community outreach is the effort an organization can partake in to support, connect, and engage with members of their community. As head, I envision an Upper School that never has to hunt for opportunities to do good, but a school that has frequent chances to not only help our community but to help themselves. Hands-on meaningful events feeds the soul a heartwarming fruit, knowing you directly supported someone’s day or created a smile. Community outreach shouldn’t be viewed as “hard work” but “good work”. I hope to merge charitable events, fundraisers, or volunteer opportunities with categories of school life such as athletics, arts, and academics to motivate the steps for a better tomorrow.
