Athletics has been a huge part of my life, allowing me to meet new people and try new things. Aside from this, sports are great for your mental and physical heath. This is why I want to run for Co-Head of Athletics. I want others to feel the joy that athletics has brought me all my life, my vision is to create a positive environment where the students of BVG are encouraged to step out of their comfort zone while having fun regardless of skill level. Since grade 9 I have been on the cross country team in grade 9, 10, 11. I have been on the swim team in grade 9, 10, 11 and track grade 9, 10, 11. I am also a part of the ambassador club. Outside of school I have done figure skating competitively for almost 7 years! I have been a part of the student ambassador club at Bayview Glen since grade 9. I volunteer both inside and outside of Bayview Glen. At Bayview Glen I volunteer touring new students and possible students around the school. At the start of grade 11 I volunteered at the North York Harvest food bank. Outside of school I volunteer teaching CanSkate kids how to skate.
